How Supervision Works
1. Choose Your Supervision Option
Select group supervision or individual 1-on-1 supervision based on your supervision needs and availability
2. Create Your Supervision Account
Create your associate account, complete the required supervision information, and review the applicable supervision policies and agreements.
3. Book Your Sessions
Choose from available supervision times after enrollment or payment is complete. Group supervision sessions remain subject to the maximum eight-associate capacity.
4. Attend Supervision & Track Your Hours
Attend your scheduled remote supervision sessions and maintain your supervision history, documentation, and supervision-hour records through the associate portal.
Who Clinical Supervision Is For
Clinical supervision is available to California pre-licensed associates, including AMFT, ASW, and APCC associates, when the supervision arrangement is legally appropriate for the associate’s registration, work setting, clinical services, and the supervisor’s license and qualifications.
Before supervision begins, CTA Behavioral Health will review the proposed supervision arrangement to confirm that it is appropriate for the associate’s registration type, employment setting, and applicable supervision requirements.

CTA Behavioral Health currently offers clinical supervision remotely/online only. Both group supervision and individual 1-on-1 supervision are provided remotely.
Who is eligible for clinical supervision?
CTA Behavioral Health considers California AMFT, ASW, and APCC associates for supervision. Eligibility depends on the associate’s registration status, employment and work setting, clinical services, and whether the proposed supervision arrangement meets applicable California BBS requirements. CTA Behavioral Health reviews the arrangement before supervision begins.
How many associates can participate in group supervision?
Group supervision is limited to a maximum of 8 associates per group. The $260 monthly subscription includes 4 group supervision sessions per month, with each session lasting 2 hours.
Can I book individual supervision without a monthly subscription?
Yes. Individual 1-on-1 supervision is available on a pay-per-session basis at $120 for a 60-minute session. A monthly subscription is not required for individual supervision.
Will my supervision hours automatically count toward California licensure?
No supervision provider can guarantee that every hour will count toward licensure. Associates are responsible for meeting the California BBS requirements that apply to their registration, employment setting, experience, and supervision arrangement. CTA Behavioral Health will structure supervision and documentation to support applicable BBS requirements and will review the proposed arrangement before supervision begins.
